Largo, FL — Hytronics Corp. has announced introduction of new MIL-STD-1553 pulse transformers that are listed on the QPL (qualified products list) administered by DSCC. The QPL models qualify to requirements of MIL-PRF-21038/27, which allows for testing and screening to a choice of three levels: T, M, or C, depending on high-, medium-, or reduced testing requirements, as determined by the application and/or customer specifications.

Shown are dual-ratio 8-lead transformers. These and single-ratio 6- and 4-lead models, also available, meet stringent performance requirements including (less than or equal to) 20% droop; ± 1V maximum overshoot; (greater than or equal to) 45dB CMR; 75kHz to 1MHz frequency range; operating temperature range of -55° to +130° C; and all other requirements of MIL-PRF-21038/27.

Both through-the-board and surface mount models are available, packaged for typical automatic or manual placement methods.
